Peaceful moment
in Nature

Travel and lifestyle that blends with the great outdoors.
A hotel where you travel with nature like a Nomad.
THE NOMAD Mt. YATSUGATAKE
Opening its doors at the southern foot of Mt. Yatsugatake.
Away from the hustle and bustle of daily life and to regain a peaceful and comfortable time, our hotel offers our guests:
“To feel the blessings of nature with all five senses and spend time in peace.”
“To provide hints for ethical living that is sustainable to the environment and community.”
And, "to stay digitally connected.”
We chose a vast natural area of 14,000 m² at an altitude of 1,050 meters above sea level at the southern foot of the Yatsugatake Mountains, overlooking the majestic Southern Alps.
2 hours from Tokyo and a 5-minute walk from the nearest train station.
A journey and lifestyle unlike anything you have ever experienced.
Tranquility that can only be experienced here.

“Tiny Hotel” THE NOMAD

Tiny hotel
“Tiny Houses" first began in the United States in the late 1990s as small houses for a lean, minimalist lifestyle . As people who lost their homes due to the Lehman Shock and hurricanes moved from one place to another by car, the concept of "a small but affluent life surrounded by only what is truly important" was reevaluated and has now become a worldwide movement.

“Tiny Hotel” THE NOMAD is the first of its kind in Japan, a mobile house trailer accommodation that follows this movement. By utilizing "trailer houses (vehicles)" that do not require foundation work, we have minimized the impact on nature, allowing for a minimalist and sustainable stay, and at the same time, making possible a special lodging experience that could not be realized by conventional resort hotels, with an open design that allows guests to experience the true beauty of the great outdoors.

Enjoy a nomadic journey, living with nature.

YOUR PLACE

YOUR PLACE

The original landscape of the Yatsugatake Mountains still remains on these expansive grounds. Enjoy the luxury of blending into nature.
The open, wooded area, with its open fields, was once fertile land where flowers and rice were cultivated. The site is also home to a mineral-rich spring that was fed by decades of filtered water from the melting snow of the Yatsugatake Mountains, where a waterside ecosystem can be seen.
This pristine natural environment attracts many wild animals, including the Japanese deer. During the daytime, you can enjoy the magnificent view of the Southern Alps, including Mt. Kitadake and Mt. Kaikomagatake and in the evenings a star-filled sky.
